Man City Sweat On Robinho's Fitness Ahead Of Arsenal Clash

Manchester City forward Robinho is a major doubt for his club's enticing tussle with Arsenal at the weekend, after picking up a thigh injury in Brazil's 3-1 victory over Argentina at the weekend.
The Seleccao sealed qualification for next year's World Cup finals with that convincing win, and Robinho will sit out Wednesday night's match up with Chile as the seriousness of his injury is assessed by the Brazilian squad's medical team.
The 25-year-old has featured in two of City's three Premier League wins so far, but now seems set to miss out on the Eastlands meeting with the Gunners, with Rodrgo Paiva, press officer for the Brazil team, telling Sky Sports: "Robinho is out of the game but will stay with us."
The extent of the injury will be further assessed by City's own medical team when the South American returns to England later this week, but at the moment it appears that Mark Hughes will need to replace him in his first choice line-up. Welsh forward Craig Bellamy deputised on the left for City in their last league outing, a 1-0 win over Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
