Nigeria’s U-17 team will not let us down, they will qualify from the group A which people and even Jack Warner believe it is the group of death, so says Hon.(Comrade) John Ekpenyong the South-South Coordinator of Grassroots Sport Federation.
Comrade Ekpenyong in his analysis of the group expressed confidence with the eaglets against powerful teams live Argentina and Germany but however express fears on a team live Honduras, saying Argentina and Germany will not pose so much serious challenge to the eaglet but Honduras that are seen as the minnows in that group might spring surprises.
The South-South Sports administrator Par Excellence however suggested that instead of Nigerians to sit at home and write off the team, they should pray for the boys and equally rally support for them by going all out to support them when the U-19 world Cup finally begin, he noted that of the team is given the much home support they need, they will make the country proud and called on the coaching crew to work very hard on all Department of the teams as the days of the Mundial is now numbered.
