ALL HAIL GRASOF

Grassroots Sports Federation, South-South have over the years been a cynosure of all eyes and a nucleus of talents discovery in the country, they have offered first hand sports festival and have employed more persons in different sports the organized. The likes of Nnamso Edo(a.k.a Cameroon) who is the engine room of Akwa United and others who ply their trade in Nigerian league outside the continent were discovered during GRASOF organized competition.



Among the tournaments organized by GRASOF are the President’s Peace Cup, Ambassador Sam Edem Unity Cup, Senator Eme Ekaette’s Cup just to mention a few. These competition have often opened gates of Akwa Ibom State to visitor who confirm that the state is blessed with a lot of talents and possesses a very rich cultural heritage.



What makes GRASOF’s competition a celebrity of sort is its packaging, their tournaments is always engaging, robust, entertaining and interesting. It can be compared to Arsenal’s knocking game (Sexy Football) likewise that of Barcelona.



While their match organization speaks more of a coordinated group that knows its onions, ability to attract scores of influential personalities and stands them out as truly those who are interested inn Grassroots Sports Development.



Today, Grasof South-South is on the march again.

The forthcoming 22nd Anniversary of the State’s creation will be proceeded and suffixed with football tournament to remember the epoch making event and also to mark Chief (DR.) Godswill Akpabio good leadership in the state.

According to comrade John Ekpenyong, the tournament will be the best of its kind and even teams from Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic, Cameroon have booked for their representations. It will be a great mundial and it will attract the blessing of many football scouts from Europe and America.



Even the president of Ghana Communities in Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State chapter Mr. Para had assured recently of their preparedness to host and receive their compatriots with open arms.



Governor Godswill Akpabio, I’m sure will not miss the epoch making football mundial put together by a son of the soil in his time for his honour, he will take the kick off on the closing match, that I am truly sure of. For now, all hail GRASOF SOUTH-SOUTH
