Joleon Lescott has passed a medical ahead of his proposed £24million move to Manchester City, according to reports.
The England international is now set to put the finishing touches to his big-money switch from Everton.
The Toffees accepted a bid from their Premier League rivals on Sunday and City have wasted no time in pushing the deal through.
Lescott travelled to Manchester on Monday, took in a short visit to Eastlands, before heading off for a physical examination.
Having satisfied City's medical team he is now in a position to sign a contract with the Blues, according to Sky Sports News.
The 27-year-old will move to Eastlands after three successful years at Goodison Park, in which he established himself as a highly-regarded top-flight performer and forced his way into the England fold.
