Hull will face Chelsea without U.S. international striker Jozy Altidore as the youngster still has work permit issues to sort out.
Jozy Altidore will miss Hull City's Premier League season opener against Chelsea on Saturday due to work permit issues. The striker is still in America trying to sort out the paperwork and will not make it to England in time for the match.
"Bad news guys still in the states trying to sort things out with my work permit," Altidore said via his twitter account. "There is a lil more work that has to be done."
The 19-year-old joined Hull on loan from Spanish side Villarreal for the season. On Wednesday he was in Mexico City with the United States national team to play Mexico in World Cup qualifying. Altidore made it off the bench in the 2-1 loss in Azteca.
