Terry eyes more goals from the Blues' front line pairing.
Chelsea captain John Terry has praised the Blues' striker partnership of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka. The pair appear to be blossoming together in the starting line-up, both scoring in the Pensioners' 2-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
The defender was complimentary of the entire team's performance, but singled out the forwards for particular accolades."We look sharp, we're scoring goals and the two lads up front looked fantastic today," Terry told Sky Sports News after the game.
"Long may that continue."A lot has been made of the partnership between Drogba and Anelka in the past, with many believing the duo may be too similar to play alongside each other. However, temporary boss Guus Hiddink regularly started with both men, and it seems that new manager Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to follow suit.
Drogba sung the praises of Anelka after his goal at Fulham and is looking forward to a fruitful relationship with the Frenchman.
