Manchester United may have won the last three Premier League titles, but the bookies are reporting that customers haven’t been in a rush to back the champions.
With Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez leaving Old Trafford in the summer, the Red Devils are 2/1 with bet365 for a fourth consecutive title.
They have been joined at the top of the betting by Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea, who have looked impressive during pre-season and have managed to retain all of their key players.
The addition of Yuri Zhirkov gives the Blues added options on the left and bet365 have reported plenty of money for the FA Cup holders, cutting them to 2/1 co-favorites.
Is the Premier League title a three-horse race this season? Liverpool are 3/1 following their signing of Alberto Aquilani, although whether he’ll steer clear of injury is another matter.
Arsenal are currently 17/2 with bet365, with Manchester City available at 10/1 after a summer of spending big.
